Papal Documents

Throughout a Pope’s pontificate, they deliver lots of speeches, messages, homilies and interviews. Many of these from the last century can be found on the Vatican website. In the links below you can access recent encyclicals (an official letter from the Pope, often about the teaching of the church) and apostolic exhortations (documents that are usually published at the end of a synod (meeting of Bishops) that show the thinking/reflection of the Pope after that experience.
