Alpha Online (External Event) for staff and students at the University of Kent

  • St Thomas of Canterbury 59 Burgate Canterbury, England, CT1 2HJ (map)

Run by St Thomas of Canterbury Parish in Canterbury, Alpha Online is offered for their parishioners and staff and students at the University of Kent to take a journey of discovery to freely explore the basics of the Christian faith over a series of interactive online sessions via Zoom video conferencing. It gives you the opportunity to discuss the big questions in life such as:

  • What am I here for?

  • What is the purpose of my life?

  • Who is Jesus?

Most people ask these sorts of questions at some point in their lives.

Each evening session starts with an engaging video which ends with a small group discussion where you can share your thoughts and experiences. Don’t worry if you are not familiar with Zoom we will provide technical assistance.

Fr Anthony Charlton, our Parish Priest, will be hosting our first Alpha Online course that starts shortly on Wednesday, 20th January 2021 for 11 weeks. The sessions run from 7.00 pm – 8.15 pm every Wednesday including one Saturday morning (2½ hours). This course is free and runs online as a small group. If, at any point, you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure, no follow-up, and no charge.

To register your interest in this course complete this form.
