Ash Wednesday is the start of Lent in the Christian year, a time to ‘return to God with all our heart’. There is an invitation during this time to fast, pray and do acts of charity (almsgiving).

Opportunities for this Ash Wednesday include:

12.30pm - Mass with Archbishop John livestreamed from St George’s Cathedral, Southwark.

12.30pm - An ecumenical Ash Wednesday service for staff and students at Goldsmiths, University of London, led by Rev Ann Clarke with Sr Anouska fcJ. To attend this event you must be either a member of staff or a student at Goldsmiths, University of London. To join, go to Teams and search for the this event in the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Team.

7pm - Livestreamed Ash Wednesday Mass with CAFOD
