Ash Wednesday is the start of Lent in the Christian year, a time to ‘return to God with all our heart’. There is an invitation during this time to fast, pray and do acts of charity (almsgiving).

An opportunity for this Ash Wednesday include:

12.30pm - An ecumenical Ash Wednesday service held in the chapel at St HIlda’s Catholic Chaplaincy House for staff and students at Goldsmiths, University of London, led by Rev Ann Clarke with Sr Anouska fcJ. To attend this event you must be either a member of staff or a student at Goldsmiths, University of London.
