ACN will present it’s ‘Africa Update’ report highlighting the explosion of violence that is reeking havoc across Sub-Saharan Africa. The report will be launched in October in the Houses of Parliament.
A surge of militant activity by extremist groups has lead to a sudden increase in attacks on Christians with priests and people killed, villages pilages and entire communities forced to flee. For ACN, Africa is a priority for aid – emergency support (shelter, food and trauma counselling) and pastoral help (support for priests and sisters and lay people communicating the love of God through word and sacrament.
9:00pm: Close
We look forward to marking #RedWednesday with you.
