Praying for the Cardinals

As we watch and wait for the white smoke, and the announcement that we have a new Bishop of Rome who will be the Pope, let us pray that each individual in the conclave with voting rights, will be listening to the voice of God within themselves and each other, and vote in a way that brings them consolation. For the one who will be chosen, let us pray that their ‘yes’ to serve God in this role of leadership be granted the grace necessary to fulfil the role entrusted to them for the greater glory of God and the salvation of God’s people.
